SGS AXYS Bargaining Update

Dear PEA members,

On November 25, 26, and 27, 2024, the Bargaining Team commenced bargaining our first collective agreement with the Employer.

We put forward a package of 31 Articles, 20 of which were nonmonetary and some that are placeholders for more fulsome monetary proposals that we are still developing . The Employer tabled counter proposals on many of the nonmonetary items, and we are also working on counters.

Overall, it was a successful three days. We reconvene with the Employer on January 21, 22 and 23, 2025 in Sidney.
