PEA-SMS Bargaining Update

Dear PEA members,

Your bargaining committee has begun preparing for this round of collective bargaining with the employer. You will receive a confidential bargaining survey on February 2. We encourage all members to complete this survey as it will provide the mandate for your bargaining committee.

The union is ready to begin negotiations as soon as March 30 but the employer has indicated that they will be available sometime after April 16. Once the employer has confirmed bargaining dates with the union, we will let the membership know.

Update Your Contact Information
At this stage we will send communications to your preferred email, however once bargaining begins we will only be sending bargaining updates only to your home email address. This is why it is very important that your contact details are up to date. Please login to the PEA website to ensure we have your home email address, current work location, and mobile phone number on record.
