PEA Occupational Health & Safety: Letter to DM Salter

Dear PEA members,

Please be aware that we have sent a letter to Deputy Minister Shannon Salter regarding the safety of our members who work in the Legal Services Branch and Justice Services Branch of the Ministry of Attorney General.

The letter outlines our concerns over our respectful request that the Employer take immediate and necessary steps to ensure compliance with the Workers Compensation Act and safeguard our members in the workplace.

Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is a right of all workers, and we take this issue very seriously as it is a legal requirement of the Employer to ensure member workplaces are safe.
