Collective Agreement

Members voted 100% in favour of the tentative agreement. 74.2% of members voted.

Thank you to bargaining committee members Kristy Smith and Tara Thompson for your work on achieving this agreement.

Highlights of the new collective agreement include:

  • General wages increase of 1.95% on January 1, 2021, 2% on January 1, 2022, and 2% on January 1, 2023;
  • Benefit improvements to include counselling coverage;
  • Language enabling members to request working from home arrangements and modified work weeks;
  • New language to support members around excessive workload; and
  • A letter of understanding to address the joint job evaluation process.

We will provide more information on the rollout of wage increases, retro pay and benefits improvements in the coming weeks.
