Dear GLP members,
Today we reached a tentative settlement with BC’s Public Service Agency after 28 days at the table. The bargaining committee recommends ratification of this tentative agreement.
The main highlights of the tentative agreement are general wage increases, as well as increases to the top step. These were the two main priorities that were identified by members during the extensive consultation that was conducted prior to bargaining.
A full explanation of the tentative agreement and an FAQ will be available next week; however, below is a snapshot of the agreement highlights and the full Memorandum of Settlement (MOS):

Ratification Vote: November 8-22, 2022
Voting on ratification of the tentative agreement will open Tuesday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. PST and close on Tuesday, November 22 at noon. Scrutineering will be held at 12:30 p.m. on November 22, and the results will be announced that afternoon.
Members will receive an email from the PEA with their voting credentials to their preferred email address on Tuesday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. PST. The email will contain a link to the voting site and their unique credential information (login and password).
