Bargaining Update

Dear PEA members,

Your bargaining committee has been meeting with the employer for the past three days. We have been clear about our membership’s bargaining priorities, including the need for a meaningful general wage increase. Unfortunately, we remain far apart on these items and the employer has signaled that they do not have much more to offer monetarily. They have also shown minimal interest in proposals that have little to no cost.

Based on how things are progressing, there is a strong likelihood that we will be calling a members’ meeting to discuss next steps over the coming days. Please be sure to check your email regularly for further information and updates.
