New Member Orientation

This webinar will provide members with an overview of the collective bargaining process. A few of our chapters will begin bargaining preparation this year and any members who are interested in being involved should plan to attend.

Session 1: Connecting with your political representatives

In this session, we will discuss the benefits of meeting with your MLA, how to go about getting and preparing for a meeting, and tools for building a lasting relationship and effectively delivering your message.

Session 2: Communicating to government policymakers
with briefing notes
February 23, 12 p.m. PST. Presented by Dr. Alana Westwood

This session will walk through the value of briefing notes as a tool for connection, how to craft an effective briefing note, and how to deliver your briefing note to your MLA and build a lasting connection.
