PEA New Member Database

Dear PEA members,

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving servicing and to enhance the member experience, we are transitioning our membership data system to iMIS, a modern, cloud-based platform next week. This upgrade will help streamline our operations and offer a range of new features that directly benefit members.

What does this mean for you?
Because your membership data will be on the new system, you will need to create a new username and password when logging into the PEA website to access the member portal. We will email you next week about how to do this.

Similar to our previous member portal, once you are logged in, you will be able to update your contact information and view confidential union information such as bargaining bulletins. With this new system, you can easily customize your communication preferences, access labour relations grievance files, register for events and education, and view news from both your chapter and the PEA—all in one place.

Why iMIS?
We decided to change our data management because we wanted a more efficient and secure system, with better labour relations case management, improved data integrity, personalized communications, and streamlined event management abilities. After researching and talking to other unions across Canada, we decided that iMIS was the best choice.

It’s been a two-year project to customize and implement the system and we feel confident that this upgrade will be a positive change for staff and members alike.
