Update on General Wage Increases

General wage increases beginning the first pay period after April 1, 2023 will be 6.75%. This is the maximum amount (i.e., Max COLA) that was bargained and forms part of the collective agreement. The general wage increase takes effect on the first pay period after April 1, 2023.

The COLA is based on the latest 12-month average (index) % change reported by BC Stats in March for British Columbia for the twelve months starting at the beginning of March of the preceding year and concluding at the end of the following February. This was reported to be 7.1%.
