Law Society General Wage Increase

Dear PEA members,

In late December your employer approached the union about an improvement to the general wage increase (GWI) for January 1, 2024. The employer had proposed increasing the GWI from 2.5% to 3.0% effective January 1, 2024. This is in addition to the 0.5% market adjustment that also applies to lawyers effective January 1, 2024.

Your chapter executive has agreed to this increase for lawyers, and the salary grid has been updated accordingly on the PEA website. Members will receive retro pay back to January 1, 2024.
