This winter, the CLC Winter School will be offered in person during January and February 2025 (January 12 – February 14). Each course is one week long on a focused topic. Visit their website for the schedule and to find more information.
There are a limited number of spots for 2025 and popular courses fill up quickly. Without exception, the feedback has been very positive from PEA members who have previously attended Winter School.
The PEA will pay the registration fee and cover union leave for six members and leaders to attend. Those who are interested should submit an expression of interest via the online form below. Members will be selected by random draw and contacted to complete the registration process. Members may require additional approval from their chapter executives. Those who previously applied must apply again to confirm their interest. The deadline for expressions of interest was October 15. Submissions are now closed. Final attendees will be interviewed for The Professional. Members who submit an expression of interest will be contacted one week following the deadline.
The BC Federation of Labour (BCFED) will be accepting applications directly for the Donna Sheaves and the Kim Manton Memorial Scholarships to attend the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) Winter School. Information will be available shortly. Please visit the BCFED website for the latest information.
